Do you tutor online or in person?
Both. We tutor online through video sessions and in person across the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas area. Tell us which you prefer when you reach out and we will match you with a format and a tutor that fit.
Which grades do you tutor?
Grades 3 through 11, from elementary number sense through Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and Pre-Calculus.
Which cities do you serve?
We serve the whole Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas area, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Garland, Irving, Arlington, Southlake and Keller. Online sessions are available anywhere.
Do you help with STAAR, SAT, ACT and other tests?
Yes. We offer prep for STAAR (including the Algebra I end-of-course exam), TSIA2, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, ACT and AP math courses. Our test prep list will keep growing, so ask if you do not see yours.
How much does tutoring cost?
Pricing depends on your student's grade, goals and schedule, so we talk it through together during your free consultation. There is no obligation.
What happens in the free consultation?
We learn about your student, where they are struggling and where they want to be. Then we recommend a plan and a tutor, and answer your questions. We reply to every inquiry within 24 hours.
How fast will you reply to my inquiry?

Who are the tutors?
PerplexMath was founded by Akash Patel and Logan Valdez, who have studied math together since kindergarten. Our team is made up of tutors who share their passion for math. Meet the whole team on the About page.
What information do you collect from parents?
Only a parent or guardian name, email, an optional phone number, your student's grade and your message. We never ask for a child's name. See our Privacy Policy for details.
